Beautiful shot. There's something about a black and white photo that makes me want to look at the picture longer. Did she look at you after this shot was taken?
This is my daughter, Bridget, don't you think you should ask for the subject's permission before you use their image? She's a uni student studying film ....
@anonymous. No I dont. Street photographers I admired, like Bill Cunningham, Stieglitz, Weegee, Cartier-Bresson, took images everywhere, no permission. BUT! if you want me to take it down, email me, and I will. Immediately.
I have just rung her and she is OK with it...this style does raise questions of power and powerlessness...what if your image was of a broken person...?? But thanks for offering to take it down... Good luck with your work.
