A good suit

Question: Do guys these days not wear a sharp suit enough? The Mad Men series has brought a return somewhat to sartorial leanings. But what do you think? Is it time for boys to sharpen up? I for one, love this sharp look. Suit here from New Zealand made Crane Brothers.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that the majority of guys look hot in a suit

This suit is perfect! Extremely clean cut, and love the location used in this.
Also, great natural light use!

I do miss men in suits . It is time for men to style up in my opinion :)

Guys do look sharp in a suit and I wish they wore it more. It's practically the one sartorial choice that provides the sort of restriction of movement and activity that us ladies experience in many of our wardrobe possibilities, [skinny's are a shared restricted movement garment] so it's nice to watch guys function in a suit. Plus, their hotness rating tends to increase exponentially the sharper the suit...but there must always be an added personality quirk: tie, socks, shoes, eyewear, tattoos, man-bag,etc,.

I definitely think it's time guys started to put in effort--and not just when they're going to weddings and funerals but just to show that they're, I dunno, glad that they woke up that morning.

I love the suit in the first shot (especially the texture of the tie) but in the second something looks a little off. Like his trousers are hemmed too high or worn too low or a combination of the two.

Either way, I definitely think men should wear suits more often!

This is awesome. I was just discussing the comeback of the perfectly fitted suit with my writing buddy. Every Monday I dedicate a "Masculine Monday" entry on my Blog, and yesterday this very thing was featured!

Great minds... :)

Great suit, and he does look great, but those trousers are too short! Should hit the back of the shoe, half-way down. And I'm not keen on the brown shoes - I think I've got a horror of 'brown in town' after several years of working in the City, in London...

The trousers are not too short. The length is sartorially acceptable on the continent, or in the United Kingdom - where the wearing of a suit is still considered by many to be a time honored tradition. The shoes are a good choice, as their distressed nature make a nice contrast to the freshly laundered look of the very continentally style Crane Bros suit. Well done.

Crane Brothers suits might be described as passable, that is if they do not forget about your order. As to the tailored look they seem to miss a bit in fitting people. If you have had a different experience that's great.

If this suit is tailored it might be a case of the firm getting back to basics.
