Ex Dior

METRO magazine October issue ( Best of ) is out today, and in one of my street style pieces you will see Di Boles - truly one of the most effortlessly stylish women around Auckland. And one of the more humble. Working in the Dior shows (and others) in London in the late 60's and early 70's, Di was lucky to be involved in an incredibly exciting time and place in fashion. In fact, there is no place you'd rather want to be than in late 60's London. " Oh but I was just a catwalk model" as she shrugs off working in these Dior shows. " But I do have to say, it was pretty fabulous." Di is the mother of the gorgeous Camilla Martin who I used to work with at radio bFM.

I want her color of lipstick, forever. Looks very stylish, my mom always wears neutrals, boring!

What a gorgeous lady - women everywhere take note, this is how to age with style.

My mum has a friend who was a super model in the 80's! New Zealand has so many beautiful ladies.

I love the fact that you choose to photograph beautiful older women too Wallace. Our society has long made them feel invisible...this lady is gorgeous and wonderfully stylish! Thank you...!
