September giveaway...Kester Black jewellery

I chanced across Kester Black jewellery in a magazine, and the image of the hen ring always stayed with me. So it’s wonderful that I’m able to have the chance of giving one away to a lucky viewer of streetandcityphotos.

Kester Black began in 2009 when Anna Ross was studying for a Bachelor of Fashion Design at Otago Polytechnic in Dunedin. As her site says, she realised her flair and passion for designing jewellery, which won out over fashion, and Kester Black was born.

Ross is now Melbourne based, produces a couple of collections each year with materials ranging from silver, to white gold and hand carved wood. I love the handmade aesthetic that Ross brings to her work and it will be a lucky person that wins this Rooster ring. As always..just post a comment for your entry to win.

Rings like this make you smile every time you wear them - particulary when person after person stops to comment on them. I have an Ocatvia Cook ring like that and if I'm in a hurry I turn it around so people can't see it so they're not tempted to talk to me about it :)

I love the handmade look to it. But just to be a tad finicky... it's a rooster, not a hen!

Handmade pieces are so special, even if it's the same model one will be different from other one. Has a lot of character, would love to rock this ring! :) -Nathalia Gerber
