In Velvet

The Velvet dress and black bow is pretty awesome. A certain taste is required for creepers shoes, and I don't have it. Malcolm McLaren brought them back into 70's London fashion, but really they were a staple in the teddy boy 50's camp, along with drainpipe trousers and velvet clothes and high greasy hair. Then into rockabilly, psychobilly, jap goth, and then into Prada. They'll keep doing the rounds for a bit, then back into the historic closet they'll go, where they belong.

I agree about the Creepers. Can't go back into the closet too soon.

I actually used to wear creepers in the 90s, but only the ones with the slight point in the toe. The really round ones I thought looked like clown shoes. But this girl knows how to work creepers into her whole look which is the main thing.

I'm a big fan of the Burberry wedge creepers out this season--so much so that I illustrated them here, if ya wanna see an unusual pair.
