One to Watch. Calling all bloggers with GUESS.

Calling all New Zealand fashion & style bloggers and writers. GUESS are putting up a cool inititative that puts you in front of their rather insanely large global reach. GUESS is that watch that Claudia Schiffer wore in those iconic ads, and that entirely good enough for me. 

It's called One to Watch - Global Blogger Search, an international open call for fashion-savvy content creators to become an official contributor to the GUESS Access Blog.  GUESS Watches have launched an award-winning, lifestyle driven website to become an online destination for their consumer. The site has a plethora of interactive elements, including the GUESS Access Blog. So !  Instead of showcasing the brand's voice, they are inviting YOU to share your vibe with readers from around the world. 

The One to Watch - Global Blogger Search is the discovery vehicle to find these brand ambassadors.  The campaign lives on an application on the GUESS Watches Facebook page,, which is currently the largest global watch brand page on Facebook with over 1.4 million fans. 

What happens: Users from around the world will create personal profiles that will include a custom-built style board to express their personal fashion point-of-view. Then they will share their profiles through their social networks in an effort to receive Style Points from all their friends and followers. At the end of the 90-day entry period, the top ten candidates in each country with the most Style Points will move on to the next round and be asked to submit a blogging assignment. 

Their submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges and two One to Watch finalists will be chosen to represent each participating country. Each finalist will receive worldwide recognition and GUESS Watch product throughout the year.  The One to Watch also has an official Twitter page, @GuessOneToWatch, where fans can engage and find out the latest updates on the search.

The search began May 1, 2012 and the finalists will be announced in September, and imagine if it turned out to be you. oh yeah.
