We all need a good bag...Swanndri giveaway

Post a comment below if you’re in need of a good bag. We all need a good bag. And the great heritage of Swanndri has been, as we know, re-worked, so that us urbanites who may have never seen a hay bale, may have never tried to jump over no 8 wire fence, and who have never worn a pair of gumboots for their proper purposes – well, so that we too can enjoy the swanndri loo, as we sit outside The Chapel drinking a chardy.

The famous Swanndri Red/ Black Check has escaped again from its traditional bush shirt style and has made its way on to the streets of NZ in the form of a messenger bag. It’s practical and functional, it’s big enough to hold your laptop, lunch and extras, it’s outer is made from their 100% wool fabric making it very resistant to your coffee spill or the grime of the pub floor, but it’s also so stylish guaranteed to make a statement wherever you carry it.

Streetandcityphotos is proud to give one away. Oh Lord..Be in because I can’t win it! Valued at $276-00.

Wow, this would be perfect for me to take to my laptop and books etc to Uni in. So tired of my scruffy old bag and in desperate need of an upgrade.

Would make a perfect nappy bag for me. I'd still look stylish, as all the nappy bags I've seen just aren't.

I usually wear gumboots, a singlet and bush shirt into the the office, but my briefcase has always seemed a bit out of place. This bag would really bring it all together and my outfit would finally make sense.

I couldn't think of a better man bag. One would be proud to wear at any opportunity and I might even look after the wife's wallet and cellphone for a change!

My fella now has two Swanndris and I have none. His newest one was from an opshop and meant for me but well, they don't make bushshirts for women so it went to him. Sad :(

Having grown up wearing these until they had holes, which is quite some time and then the dog got them, who would have though I'd have considered wearing the red and black along Cuba Street in 2012.

When I moved to Auckland, I thought it would be much warmer in winter than other parts of the country but it's still pretty cold. My laptop gets especially cold (it's a gentle, fragile soul) and could really do with a snuggly bag to shelter from the elements in.
