Five grand of adidas gear...calling all crews

Reebok high tops vs Adidas. That was the only trench war when I grew up in the 80’s at my school. For me? All white Reeboks the whole way with my baggy-ish jeans. Michael J. Fox styles. Others? They loved Run DMC. They liked Adidas. Only later on did I get my first pair of Adidas, but I wore them for years.

Got sent this. It’s a pretty cool prize. No-one would laugh at five grand of adidas gear (dear God that would keep you in sneakers until superannuation kicks in, by then it will be the Hush Puppies)

Adidas Originals has launched a nationwide search for one Kiwi crew to feature in the ultimate self-expression of street-inspired style – the adidas All Originals Represent global campaign.

It’s open to crews across New Zealand; fashion to skate, graffiti art or BMX, what have you. Crews enter through key adidas retailers (listed below) by submitting a video entry, then a national showdown will reveal the ultimate winning crew in Auckland on Fri 31 August, hosted by superstar Kiwi MC David Dallas.

As said,  the winning crew will get $5,000 adidas gear, become the face of the adidas Originals New Zealand advertising campaign, and represent New Zealand on the adidas All Originals Represent global social media platforms reaching audience of 15million online fans. For all the deets head to adidas originals faceys

Other campaign featuring brand ambassadors are mildly big names Nicki Minaj and hip hop artist Big Sean, Korean pop phenomenon 2NE1, the NBA’s Most Valuable Player Derrick Rose, and fashion’s “wild child” Jeremy Scott.
