This coming Monday 25th November, Vada hair is going to open its doors to cut Hair for Haiyan. The typhoon that has decimated towns in the Philippines has galvanized support throughout the world, and that includes one very cool hair salon in Auckland.
Vada will be open from 11am – 5pm, taking bookings for cuts, colours and blow waves and donating 100 percent of the income directly to the Philippines Typhoon Disaster.
This is usually the salons day off so the Vada team are proud to be contributing to the financial aid of this cause. They are Leonie Nicholls (Floor Manager), Cath Roberts (Owner and Creative Director), and Chris King (Senior Stylist) and I just think it’s awesome.
Vada is winner of multiple prestigious awards, and home to highly creative team of internationally trained stylists. They bring beauty with a conscience to inner city K Rd by championing hair care in harmony with nature using the best naturally derived products on the market. Vada minimise the impact we have on the environment whilst embracing the freestyle fashions of every season and caring for your health and wellbeing at the same time. And they’re big fans of Oxfam.
So there ya go. Going and get a cut on Monday.
